Empowered to Restore Ministries, in Partnership with Tarragon Edge Limited, Graduates First Cohort of Trainees at the Kingdom Ambassadors Sewing Academy

Empowered to Restore Ministries, in partnership with Tarragon Edge Limited, has successfully graduated the first cohort of trainees of The Kingdom Ambassadors Sewing Center in Accra, Ghana. The graduation ceremony, held on 31st January, 2026, marked a significant milestone in the shared mission of restoring dignity, building livelihoods, and empowering women and youth through practical vocational skills.

The event was hosted at T-Edge Hub, Tarragon Edge Limited, Madina, Accra, and brought together graduates, instructors, ministry leaders, partners, and community stakeholders.

The Kingdom Ambassadors Sewing Center was generously donated by Drs. Gerald and Judith Davis, whose visionary philanthropy laid the foundation for the establishment of the center as a hub for skills development, entrepreneurship, and community transformation.
The ceremony was attended by a distinguished gathering of clergy, traditional leaders, professionals, and partners, including Michael Nartey, Nana Nanka Bruce, Sompahene of Gomoa, Nii Obodia of Ogbojo, Dr. Kym Grant-Horsey, Dr. Leroy and Dr. Michelle Yates, Apostle Stepheney, Dr. Valarie, Pastor David, and the Founder of Empowered to Restore Ministries, Pastor Trecie.

The programme was delivered in strategic partnership with Tarragon Edge Limited, a leadership, sustainability, and social impact consultancy. Tarragon Edge provided programme structuring, training oversight, and enterprise-readiness support, ensuring that graduates were equipped not only with technical sewing skills but also with the mindset, professionalism, and confidence required to build sustainable livelihoods.

Dr. Genevieve Pearl Duncan, Founder and Lead Consultant of Tarragon Edge Limited, in her remarks, challenged the graduates to pursue excellence and purpose in their craft.

She said, “This certificate is not an ending; it is a responsibility. You have been equipped not just to sew, but to restore dignity, create value, and build livelihoods. Stitch with excellence, carry yourselves as professionals, and let integrity and confidence define your work,” Dr. Duncan stated.
Special appreciation was extended to Drs. Gerald and Judith Davis for their generous donation of the Sewing Center.

Delivering the charge, Nana Nanka Bruce (Sompa-hene of Gomoa) said when people are given skills and support they gain the confidence to shape better futures for themselves and their families, and Graduates should not take this for granted.

Graduates were presented with Certificates of Completion, alongside special recognitions for outstanding performance and dedication. A Special Award for Overall Best Student, The Araba Mesre Nyame Award, was presented to Henrietta Nii Boye, in recognition of her exceptional skill, discipline, creativity, and commitment throughout the programme.

Several graduates shared testimonies expressing renewed confidence and plans to establish tailoring services, home-based enterprises, and apprenticeship opportunities within their communities.

Empowered to Restore Ministries and Tarragon Edge Limited reaffirmed their commitment to expanding the programme, supporting future cohorts, and strengthening pathways to economic independence and dignity through skill-based empowerment.
The graduation of the first cohort of The Kingdom Ambassadors Sewing Center stands as a powerful testament to the impact of faith-driven vision, strategic partnership, and community-centered leadership.
